My
name is Kerrie Grant and I teach reading for approximately 135 sixth
grade middle school students of various ability levels at the North
Attleboro Middle School in North Attleboro, Massachusetts
Previously
I taught fifth graders in an elementary setting in North Attleboro in a
self-contained inclusive classroom. I was responsible for all subject
areas for a classroom of 25 - 30 students.
My
undergraduate studies took place at Bridgewater State College and I
received a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education grades 1 - 6
My
Master's degree work was done at Lesley College and I majored in
Creative Arts and Learning as a way of teaching a differentiated
learning approach in the classroom setting
I
am currently completing my Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study (CAGS)
degree in Reading to become a literacy specialist in the state of
Massachusetts
