Topic: Comparing the North and South
Students are given an informational reading and asked to write three questions on an index card.
Students pair with a partner and exchange questions. Partners then discuss questions and write two new questions.
Students are assigned into groups of four (2 pairs). The pairs exchange questions and discuss answers.
The Groups of 4 writes 2 more questions.
Each group reads their questions to the whole class and answers are discussed.
