Educational Resource Center

The Educational Resource Center (ERC), located on the second floor of Maxwell Library, provides resources and services to support professional education and related programs at Bridgewater State College. The emphasis is on practical materials that can be used for curriculum planning, preparation of lessons, teaching of lessons, and assessment of pupils. Tools for conducting educational research are also located here.

Electronic Resources and Computer Labs

  • Numerous online databases, including ERIC with E*Subscribe, Education Full-text, Professional Development Collection, Mental Measurements Yearbook, Kraus Curriculum Development Library, PsycINFO, and others. For a description of each of these databases, go to the alphabetical list of databases.

  • Webster, Maxwell Library's online catalog (which can be used to find books and other materials in the library).

  • A dedicated-use mini lab with selected test scoring software and K-12 educational games
