The KCDL provides a comprehensive, annual, full text installment on microfiche of the best, most up-to-date curriculum guides from around the nation. Each annual supplement is accompanied by a shelf list in book format and a cumulative index to the entire KCDL collection.
The Educational Resources Center has been getting the KCDL since 1991. There are now over 4,000 titles in the Educational Resources Center holdings, and about 300 new guides are added each year.
The KCDL collection and its accompanying indexes are kept on reserve behind the Educational Resources Center service desk.
In addition to the KCDL, the Educational Resources Center has a retrospective collection of about 1,000 paper copy guides, and the
ERIC (Educational Resources Information Center) microfiche collection includes many curriculum guides.
