Library Liaison Program:

Goals and Potential Liaison Activities

The Library Liaison Program exists to establish ongoing relationships between the Library and the college's academic programs to enhance communication and improve resources and services for these programs. Library staff members are appointed to work as liaisons with faculty in specific academic departments to carry out these responsibilities.

EXAMPLES OF LIAISON ACTIVITIES

Following are examples of activities used successfully in academic library liaison programs. Each liaison assignment is unique. At Bridgewater State College, library liaisons select specific activities appropriate to meet the needs of their assigned academic departments.
