Meg taught at Westfield High School from 1963 to 1983. She was the first Massachusetts recipient of the Presidential Award for Excellence in Science Teaching. Sue Plati, her nominator, wrote, Meg "...has inspired countless students with her superb teaching, helped hundreds of teachers in her workshops and...(worked) to make sure that science education is a priority..."
