Louise's career as a first grade teacher has spanned a period of thirty five years. During that time she has fostered a love of science in her young students and been a role model for elementary teachers in the pursuit of science education. Louise has served as a PALMS Coordinator and has been involved with MEES, MASS, and MAST, currently serving as president of MAST. She has also received many awards, culminating with her selection for the Presidential Award for Excellence in the Teaching of Science.
