Dawn has been with the Hudsen School System since 1967, serving as a reading specialist, a third grade teacher, and a fourth grade teacher. She has become an inspiration to her students, colleagues, and supervisors with her innovative and adventurous undertakings from the vernal pools, to the swamplands, to the oceans! Her commitment to the environment has led to leadership positions in the Massachusetts Environmental Education Society and her present position as President-Elect of Massachusetts Association of Science Teachers. Dawn is the recipient of many awards including the Presidential Award for Excellence in the Teaching of Science. She continually strives to find new ideas and to climb those difficult fences to reach the ultimate success!
