Mary currently serves as the science department head at North Quincy High School. Prior to that position, Mary taught chemistry, biology, horticulture, and environmental science at all levels of the high school. Mary has been the recipient of several honors including the M.A.S.S. Outstanding Educator Award, the M.A.S.T. Science Educator of the Year Award, and the Massachusetts State Science Fair Mentor Award. Mary has been a leading force in science fair competitions at the local, state, and international levels, and in that capacity has had profound impact on the lives of innumerable students. She continues to serve on the boards of M.A.S.S. and M.A.S.T. and represents North Quincy High School in partnerships with Eastern Nazarene College, State Street Corporation, and Boston Financial Data Services. Mary is a dedicated and tireless advocate for science education.
