Joyce Gleason Joyce Gleason was previously Director of Outreach for the Annenberg/CPB Channel at the Harvard-Smithsonoian Center for Astrophysics. She now works as an educational consultant on science education, school reform, and professional development issues.

A science educator for over 30 years, Joyce has served as a high school teacher, K-12 coordinator, staff developer in two urban districts, educator for graduate and undergraduate student teachers, and independent consultant.

She is a past president of the Massachusetts Association of Science Teachers and former District I Director for the National Science Teachers Association. She was named Massachusetts Science Educator of the Year in 2000 and was Program Coordinator for the National Science Teachers Association national convention in 1999 and 2008.
