Here you can see some of the images from Dr. Patricia Fanning's Through an Uncommon Lens: The Life and Photography of F. Holland Day. The Massachusetts Center for the Book's ninth Annual Massachusetts Book Awards recently recognized Dr. Fanning's book with honors for nonfiction. Through an Uncommon Lens was also nominated for the Charles C. Eldredge Prize, given annually by the Smithsonian American Art Museum for outstanding scholarship in the field of American art.
