Campaign Addressing Drugs on Campus
The
Media Campaign Addressing Drugs on Campus (McADOC) Peer Education Network is a
group of peer educators who make presentations in the residence halls and
design ongoing campus-wide educational campaigns including Alcohol Awareness
Week, the Great American Smoke-Out, Sexual Responsibility Awareness Week, Safe
Holiday Break Weeks and the Stress Free Zone.
OUTLINE
FOR THE McADOC PEER EDUCATOR SELECTION PROCESS
1. Application form and short answer
questions should be returned to Tillinghast Hall, room
010 (Outreach Education - Alcohol/Drug
Program Office). If you mail your
application, please mail it to McADOC, Health Services, Bridgewater State
College,
2. You will interview for an opening to be a
McADOC Peer Educator for the upcoming semester.
A current McADOC Peer Educator and the Outreach Education Coordinator or
Graduate Assistant, Alcohol/Drug Program will generally conduct interviews.
3. Job description information is
attached. You are encouraged to read
through this information to further acquaint yourself with the specific role
and responsibilities of the McADOC Peer Educator.
4. The McADOC Peer Educator position is a
paid position. Payment is based upon the number of hours worked and is paid
every other week. You do not need to be
work-study eligible to be a McADOC Peer Educator.
