Directions to the Center

The John Joseph Moakley Center for Technological Applications

The Moakley Center at Bridgewater State College is centrally located in the heart of southeastern Massachusetts within easy reach by major highways.

The campus is located approximately 40 minutes south of Boston, 30 minutes north of Cape Cod, and 50 minutes northeast of Providence, Rhode Island.


FROM THE NORTH:

  • Take I-93 or I-95 south to Route 24 South
  • Follow Route 24 south to Exit 15 (Route 104)
  • Take Route 104 east to STOP sign (approximately 3 miles)
  • Turn left (onto South Street )
  • Proceed to Rotary, stay in right lane
  • Just before traffic light, bear right at gas station (staying on Route 104)
  • Bear left at next traffic light, and go over commuter rail tracks
  • Take next right, Burrill Avenue
  • The Moakley Center is the first college building on the left
  • The Moakley parking lot is just beyond the Moakley Center , also on the left
FROM THE WEST:
  • Follow the Masschusetts Turnpike (I-90) to Route 495 South to Exit 7A (Route 24 North)
  • Once on Route 24 North, take Exit 15 (Bridgewater-Raynham, Route 104)
  • Take Route 104 east to STOP sign (approximately 3 miles)
  • Turn left (onto South Street )
  • Proceed to Rotary, stay in right lane
  • Just before traffic light, bear right at gas station (staying on Route 104)
  • Bear left at next traffic light (Mobil station on left), and go over commuter rail tracks
  • Take next right, Burrill Avenue
  • The Moakley Center is the first college building on the left
  • The Moakley parking lot is just beyond the Moakley Center , also on the left
FROM THE EAST:
  • Follow Route 106 west to Route 104
  • Turn left onto Hooper Avenue , and left again onto Burrill Avenue
  • The Moakley Center is the building on the corner of Hooper and Burrill
  • The Moakley parking lot is just beyond the Moakley Center , also on the left
FROM PROVIDENCE , RHODE ISLAND AND POINTS SOUTH:
  • Follow I-95 North to Route 495 South to Exit 7A (Route 24 North)
  • Once on Route 24 North, take Exit 15 (Bridgewater-Raynham, Route 104)
  • Take Route 104 east to STOP sign (approximately 3 miles)
  • Turn left (onto South Street )
  • Proceed to Rotary, stay in right lane

FROM CAPE COD:
  • Take Route 6 or Route 28 North to the Bourne Bridge
  • Exiting the Bridge, take Route 25 North to Route 495 North
  • Take Exit 6, Routes 18-28
  • Follow Route 18 North to Bridgewater
  • Proceed through Rotary, staying in right lane
  • Just before traffic light, bear right at gas station (Route 104 East)
  • Bear left at next traffic light (Mobil station on left), and go over commuter rail tracks
  • Take next right, Burrill Avenue
  • The Moakley Center is the first college building on the left
  • The Moakley parking lot is just beyond the Moakley Center , also on the left
