Television Studio
The Moakley Center Television Facility has 2 studios - one dedicated for video conferencing, and the other for video productions. There is an audio/prep room and 2 editing suites (linear/analog and non-linear/digital).

Teleconference Facility
Teleconferencing equipment is available in the Moakley Center Teleconference Facility. This room is equipped with a PolyCom system configured for an ISDN line speed of 384kbps and can be reserved through the Moakley Center Event Coordinator at 508.531.2939.

Open Access Lab
The Open Access Lab contains over 90 PC and Macintosh computers.  A scanner and several printers are available.  The Lab is open seven days a week for use on a walk-in basis by college staff, students and the general public (hours vary during holidays and intersession).  A username and password are required and available for one day use at the HelpDesk.

Collaborative Training Center
This lab accommodates up to 44 people for computerized training sessions.   It is available for rental to local school districts, community groups and businesses.  Equipment includes 22 PCs, set in pods, connected to the campus network with full Internet access.  The teaching station is equipped with a printer, scanner, VCR and ceiling-mounted projector.  The computers will play CD and DVD disks, and arrangements can be made for specialized software installations.  To reserve this room, please call the Moakley Center Conference and Event Coordinator at 508.531.2939.

HelpDesk

The HelpDesk is available to respond to questions and problems experienced when using campus technology equipment. 

Adaptive Computing Lab
The Adaptive Computing Technology Lab is a special facility containing hardware and software for students and community members with special needs.  All computers are connected to the campus network and have full Internet access.

MAC Lab Classroom
The MAC Lab Classroom contains 24 fully networked Macintosh computers used for teaching on-campus courses and to provide special workshops/seminars for teachers and other community groups.  The classroom has a scanner and printer.  The teaching station is equipped with a document camera, VCR and ceiling-mounted projector.  The computer will play CD and DVD disks.  All computers are connected to the campus network and have full Internet access.

PC Lab Classrooms
These two classrooms (Lab I and Lab II) each contain 26 fully networked PCs and are used for on-campus instruction and to provide special workshops/seminars for off-campus groups.  Each room has a scanner and printer.  The teaching station is equipped with a document camera, DVD player, VCR and ceiling-mounted projector.  All computers are connected to the campus network and have full Internet access.

TTSC
The Teaching and Technology Support Center (TTSC) provides access and technical support to faculty members integrating technology into their curriculum.   The TTSC allows faculty to integrate educational theory and practice while developing technologically generated products for the support of learning and instruction.

CART
The Center for the Advancement of Research and Teaching (CART) is a resource available to advance and promote the teaching, research, and scholarly activities of BSC faculty, librarians, and administrators. Various hardware and software is available, technological support, a variety of grant programs, and an array of professional development programs are presented.

Musical Instrument Digital Interface (MIDI) 
This lab /classroom contains 11 specialized music keyboards connected to Macintosh computers and audio systems.  The teaching station contains a Macintosh computer with special synthesizers and is connected to the room's projection system.

Electronic Presentation Classroom
Classroom accommodating up to 50 people with teaching station.  The teaching station contains PC and document camera.  Campus network connectivity with full Internet access is available in the room.  A TV/VCR/DVD is also available.

UNIX Electronic Lab
The UNIX Electronic Laboratory serves as a UNIX teaching classroom and features several PC workstations.  A teaching station connected to a ceiling mounted projector is equipped with a computer, VCR and document camera.

GeoGraphics Lab
The GeoGraphics Laboratory provides applications of geographic information systems (GIS) principally in the area of transportation and community development. It currently operates a Transit GIS Laboratory for the federal Transit Administration as a part of the U.S. Department of Transportation's Spatial Data Infrastructure Initiative.

CityLab Satellite
A biotechnology laboratory for use by teachers and their students. The BSC Moakley Center CityLab is a satellite of the CityLab at Boston University School of Medicine.

RiverNet Watershed Access Lab
This classroom/laboratory is being used by the RiverNet Watershed Access Lab project for local teachers and community volunteer watershed monitoring groups. Support for this lab has been provided by Raytheon Company and a National Science Foundation (NSF) grant.

Conference Room
The Conference Room is available for meetings of on-campus and off-campus community/business groups of fifteen or less.  The room is equipped with a whiteboard and TV/VCR.  Presentation equipment is available upon request.  To reserve the room, call the Moakley Center Event Coordinator's Office at 508.531.2939.
