International Conference for Teaching and Learning

Education in a Global Era: International Conference for Teaching and Learning will be held at Bridgewater State College from July 28-30, 2009.

The event brings together educators from many countries and cultures for the shared exploration of teaching and learning with theoretical underpinnings in systemic change and reform.

Participants will examine a range of pedagogical applications like the Systemic Approach to Teaching and Learning (SATL) that address local and global issues in educating students for the 21st century.

The conference is a collaborative effort and the result of a partnership between Jordan's Tafilia Technical University and Bridgewater State College. The conference planning committee consists of representatives from Egypt, Germany, Italy, Jordan, Pakistan and the United States.
