Welcome to the 2010 Eastern New England Biology Conference website. This year's conference is being hosted by Bridgewater State College on Saturday, 10 April 2010. All events will be held in the John Joseph Moakley Center for Technological Applications on the BSC campus. Bridgewater is located in Southeastern Massachusetts, in the town of Bridgewater, 35 miles away from the city of Boston and 35 miles west of the Cape and Islands.

Bridgewater is excited to host this year's conference and to welcome students from all over Eastern New England to our growing campus. It's a good time to be a young scientist at Bridgewater. Bridgewater Biology faculty have active research agendas and a strong commitment to teaching. Thus, students have the chance to work closely with faculty in undergraduate research through the Adrian Tinsley Program. Students also have the chance to bring their research to the community through outreach programs like Center for the Advancement of Science Exploration or CASE, a co-sponsor of this year's conference, and The Watershed Access Lab. Both labs connect BSC to area classroom teachers, giving them access to expertise and personnel that can enrich the science educations of area students. The experiences on campus prepare BSC students for vibrant careers in industry and research.

In Fall of 2012, students and faculty alike will move into a brand new, state-of-the-art science building. Visitors to campus will have the opportunity to see the project in its earliest phases of construction. We hope to see you at Bridgewater this April.
