  • September 14: Public Viewing Night - 75 guests.
  • October 5: Public Viewing Night - 75 guests.
  • October 7: Private Viewing Event, Woodward Hall Learning Community - 15 guests.
  • October 21: Private Viewing Event, Randolph Middle School Students - 70 guests.
  • October 22: Private Viewing Event, Home Schoolers - 115 guests.
  • October 28: Private Viewing Event, Cub Scouts - 50 guests.
  • November 2: Private Viewing Event, BSU Chapel group - 50 guests.
  • November 2: Public Halloween Event - 100 guests.

  • February 22: Public Viewing Night - 25 guests. Oddly, this public night had been cancelled, but so many people showed up anyway that we held a short viewing, through the holes in the clouds.
  • February 27: Public Viewing Night - 15 guests. Again, this is a night that had been cancelled due to cloud cover, but we had visitors anyway.
  • March 2: Mars Opposition Indoor Event - 200 guests (at least)!.
  • March 3: Mars Viewing Event - 250 guests.
  • March 19: Private Viewing Event, Hockomock Camera Club - 15 guests.
  • March 21: Public Viewing Night - 75 guests.

Approximate number of visitors since September 2011: 1800

The observatory has also been in use each clear Tuesday and Thursday by Physics 107: Exploring the Universe since Fall 2011. Visitors also show up during this class and during training events when public events are not officially scheduled. They see the lights on and are interested! These visits are not reflected on the list above.

Prior to Fall 2011, the old observatory had approximately 1000 visitors in an entire year.
