CLAS101: Becoming a Scholar
Get a glimpse into what a college classroom is like at Bridgewater State University! This is a great opportunity to get to know faculty and your fellow peers. CLAS101 is your first chance to speak with a member of our advising staff. They will assist you with any questions and concerns you have about your academic success here at Bridgewater State University.

Lunch is provided by Sodexho Food Services. Sodexho is open and willing to create a meal that suits your dietary needs.

Campus Service Fair
The Campus Service Fair is a great opportunity to speak with representatives from various offices on campus. They will be happy to answer any of your questions. Take advantage of this opportunity; it is your first glimpse into the many opportunities Bridgewater State University has to offer outside the classroom!

BEAR
Be Educated, Aware & Respectful:
College is a whole new experience. The hope of “BEAR” is to expose you to the diversity present on campus. Students, like yourself, come from numerous types of backgrounds and it is important for you to be, at the least, aware of these differences. You will be presented with challenging, difficult, and sometimes moving ideas and situations. Your respect for fellow group members and the exchange of ideas is crucial to the success of the “BEAR” program. Enter with an open mind and you’ll do great!

Now is the time to build your schedule! This is your first chance to speak with a member of our Advising staff. They will assist you with any questions and concerns you have about your academic success here at Bridgewater State University. You will build a class schedule and move towards the registration process with confidence!

It is time to check out of your room and start your summer! If time permits you may want to visit the bookstore

Program Notes:

Due to campus improvement projects this summer the New Student Orientation Program and Family Orientation Program parking will be located in the Shea and Durgin lot located on the East side of campus.
Students arriving to the New Student Orientation program will remove items form their car and be bused over to Pope Hall to check into their residence hall room.
Family members attending the Family Orientation Program can either walk or take a bus over to the Moakley Center.
