Meet our Orientation Leader Staff

Hello New Students!
We are looking forward to your arrival on campus.

Orientation Leaders (OLs) play an integral role in the success of the New Student Orientation Programs and are recognized leaders throughout the College Community. They serve as group leaders, contacts with offices and departments, academic counselors, peer educators, and positive role models.

Orientation Leaders are actively involved in assisting all new students with their transition to Bridgewater State College, whether it be from high school, the work force, the military, or another institution of higher education.

Orientation Leaders participate in an extensive training program that begins in the Spring semester and resumes approximately a week before the Summer programs begin. They are trained in and expected to be knowledgeable about institutional information, group dynamics, and developmental issues.

Our Orientation Leaders are ready to meet and greet you to campus life and answer all of your questions. Remember, Orientation is a chance for you to meet new people, spend some time on campus before the semester starts to ease your transition to college!
