Mission Statement for Parent and Family Relations:

Parent and family relations is a campus-wide effort that supports the mission of the College and enriches the BSC experience for students and their families.  The success of all BSC students is supported by strong partnerships between the College, our students and their families.

In order to accomplish this mission we strive to:

  1. Create a sense of community among parents, family members, students, and the college through participation in programs and events.
  1. Encourage students to make their own choices and decisions by partnering with parents and family members to support student learning and personal development.
  1. Communicate important and timely information via newsletters, e-mail and other forms of communication.
  1. Support the educational experience of students through financial support of the annual fund, student initiatives, and the Parent Association Scholarship.
  1. Provide opportunities for parent involvement, leadership and feedback through the Parent Association.
