Bridgewater State College
Founded in 1840, Bridgewater State College is a four-year, comprehensive public college in Southeastern Massachusetts, the fastest-growing region in the northeastern United States.
Bridgewater State College is home to three schools--the School of Education and Allied Studies, the School of Arts and Sciences, and the School of Business. Undergraduate students can choose from 30 majors, 48 minors and 54 areas of concentration. At the graduate level, students are offered a number of master's degree and post-baccalaureate licensure programs, a certificate of advanced graduate study and a collaborative doctoral program with the University of Massachusetts at Lowell.
With both day and evening classes, the college serves approximately 9,000 undergraduate and graduate students.
Located in the heart of Southeastern Massachusetts, Bridgewater State College is just 28 miles south of Boston and is close to Providence and Cape Cod. The college is easily accessible via major highways (I-495, Route 24), as well as the Old Colony Commuter Rail, which has a stop on the campus.
