The Bridgewater State University Police Department provides an Operation ID program where an officer will engrave identifying information on personal items. A record of the engraving is kept on file at the BSU Police station for the length of time that a student is enrolled at the university. Items typically engraved include desktop and laptop computers, televisions, radios, cell phones, calculators, cameras, and the list goes on.
Officers can engrave items at the police station, at a person's office, or at a residence hall room. Appointments are appreciated, but not required. There is no cost for this service.
If you'd like to arrange for an item to be engraved, call us or send an email to
Captain Froio at mfroio@bridgew.edu.
