10/3/06 - BRIDGEWATER STATE COLLEGE BOARD OF TRUSTEES ELECTS OFFICERS FOR THE UPCOMING YEAR
The Bridgewater State College Board of Trustees, at its annual meeting, elected the following board members as officers for the upcoming year: Mr. Louis M. Ricciardi, '81, of Assonet, MA, was elected chairman; Mr. Matthew P. Keswick, of Quincy, was elected vice chairman; and Mr. Arthur C. George, Esq., of Holbrook, was elected secretary. Mr. Ricciardi served as the alumni trustee from 1989 to 1999 and was appointed to the Board by the Governor in November, 2004. Mr. Keswick has served as a trustee since 2001 and Attorney George since 1999.

The Massachusetts Aggression Reduction Center at Bridgewater State College will hold a fundraiser on Thursday, Oct. 5 from 4-9 p.m. at Papa Gino's, 233 Bedford Street, to defer expenses for the Youth Anti-Violence Summit to be held at BSC on Oct. 16.

The Council of Presidents of the Massachusetts State Colleges announced today that it has selected Kenneth Lemanski, who served in the House of Representatives for seven terms, to become its new Executive Officer, succeeding Frederick Clark of South Easton who will leave that position effective October 1, 2006.
