The Bristol County Savings Charitable Foundation (BCSC) has pledged $250,000 over a five-year
period to Bridgewater State College to help the institution provide financial assistance to first-generation
college students and others who might not otherwise be able to afford college. Mr. E. Dennis Kelly Jr.,
president and CEO of Bristol County Savings Bank, presented the first of five annual installments of $50,000
recently to Dr. Dana Mohler-Faria, president of Bridgewater State College.

The Bridgewater State College Board of Trustees, at its annual meeting, elected the following board members as officers for the upcoming year: Mr. Louis M. Ricciardi, '81, of Assonet, MA, was elected chairman; Mr. Matthew P. Keswick, of Quincy, was elected vice chairman; and Mr. Arthur C. George, Esq., of Holbrook, was elected secretary. Mr. Ricciardi served as the alumni trustee from 1989 to 1999 and was appointed to the Board by the Governor in November, 2004. Mr. Keswick has served as a trustee since 2001 and Attorney George since 1999.
