Current BSU Resident Students Going Abroad

We hope you have an enjoyable and educational experience and look forward to your return.  To make your transition away from and back to on-campus housing as smooth as possible, please refer to the steps outlined below.  If you have any questions, contact our office at reslife@bridgew.edu or 508.531.1277.

• Once you have confirmation that you will be going abroad for a semester or academic year, you need to withdraw from housing.  Select "Study Abroad" as the reason for your withdrawal.  This way we know that you are leaving to go abroad and will be returning to housing.
• As your return date approaches we will be in touch via e-mail regarding your preferences, so it important to make sure we have accurate contact information for you.
  • For students studying abroad for the fall semester who return in the spring, we make every effort to reassign you to the space you originally selected during the room selection process. However due to the high demand for housing at BSU this is not always possible, but you are guaranteed a space on campus when you return.
  • For students studying abroad for the spring semester, you may participate in the room selection process for the fall semester provided you pay the room deposit by the deadline.
