Residence Life and Housing Sustainability Committee

The Residence Life and Housing Sustainability Committee aims to actively engage resident students and staff in promote an atmosphere of sustainability in the residence halls and beyond. Sustainability is more than just recycling, and it is more than just about the environment. It is about developing new ideas, changing attitudes, and forming life-long habits that directly contribute to a society that balances its resources in a sustainable manner. The Sustainability Committee strives to achieve this by working with students, staff, and the Center for Sustainability.

Sustainability Tip of the Week:
Submit a work order to report leaky faucets and showers as soon as you notice them to conserve water.

Sustainability Challenge of the Month:
Use only cold water to wash and rinse all of your laundry this month. Not only does this save on hot water, but it will also save you time since you won't have to sort your clothes.
