This is a reminder that all seniors who intend to graduate with a Bachelor's Degree from Bridgewater State College must file an application for graduation. Application forms are available at the Registrar's Office, located in room 003, ground floor of Boyden Hall. Graduation candidates should complete this form and return it to our office as soon as they have enrolled in their final courses to ensure a timely review of their graduation status.
The application deadlines are as follows:
Summer Graduation -- April 15
Winter (January) Graduation -- August 1
Spring (May) Graduation -- December 20
The degree audit is your primary tool to assess where you are with your degree completion. At the time you apply to graduate, your degree audit must show compliance in all areas. Any section of the audit that is still "unmet" will require a schedule change, or a course substitution/waiver form. Please see your department chair or advisor as soon as possible to discuss what can be done to correct any issues that may be occurring in reference to your degree audit. NOTE: If you are currently enrolled in a final approved transfer course, you must attach a copy of your schedule from that institution to your graduation application.
Please remember that all requirements outlined in the Catalog must be completed by the date of graduation in order to qualify as a BSC graduate. For additional details, please refer to the Graduation Requirements section of the current Bridgewater State College Catalog. A summary is outlined below.
