Academic Credit

Most courses may be taken for academic credit and carry three semester hours of credit unless noted otherwise.

  • Undergraduate Credit (U) - Students who possess a high school diploma or equivalent may earn undergraduate credit.
  • Graduate Credit (G) - 500-600 level courses are for graduate credit only. Students who already possess a bachelor's degree may earn graduate credit.
  • Undergraduate or Graduate Credit (U/G) - A number of 400 level courses may be taken for either undergraduate or graduate credit, and tuition is charged accordingly. Students who already possess a bachelor's degree may earn graduate credit.

Credit Level Status Change

All changes in credit level from undergraduate to graduate level credit or vice versa, or from credit to audit status must be made prior to the end of the drop/add period. Any additional tuition must be paid.
