Organization E-mail Accounts

All recognized student organizations are permitted to create an @bridgew.edu e-mail account for their organization.  Any organization that is pursuing funds from the Student Government Association, must have an active Bridgewater e-mail account.  To create this account, please submit the following forms to the Director of Student Involvement and Leadership:

All organizations must abide by the policies outlined in the BSC Responsible Use of Information Technology  and the BSC Electronic Mail Policy.  All organization accounts must only be used for the purpose of organizational communications and disseminating information about this club/organization and its events.

Any violations of these policies may result in:

  • The organization leadership, the organization itself and/or the designated webmaster of the organization being held responsible.
  • The club/organization account(s) being suspended and the club/organization may lose its status as a recognized organization at BSC.

The Director of Student Involvement and Leadership may suspend the use of any technology account at any point.

Creating a Website for Your Organization

All recognized student organizations are permitted to create a website on the Bridgewater webhost server.  The organization must have an e-mail account created as well in order to receive their webhost account.  Organization webhost accounts will not count against a student's personal webhost drive capacity.  You may petition for your website to be hosted off-campus by submitting a request to the Director of Student Involvement and Leadership in writing.  All policies must also be upheld when a site is hosted off-campus.

To create your organization webhost account, please submit the following forms to the Director of Student Involvement and Leadership:

All organizations with an approved BSC website, may have a link created from the Student Involvement and Leadership club page, located at http://www.bridgew.edu/sil/clubs.cfm.

To have your website linked from the Student Involvement Page, please send an e-mail to Matt Miller at m5miller@bridgew.edu requesting the link be made.  To request that your club/organization meeting time and location be listed at http://www.bridgew.edu/sil/clubmeetings.cfm, also e-mail Matt Miller to request the listing.
