We invite students for whom English is a second language to explore our language support programs!
What we offer:
Sign up with our conversation partner program and meet with an English language tutor once per week throughout the semester. Conversation partners provide one-on-one language feedback specially tailored for each student. This is offered as a stand alone service, or as a supplement to BSU's ENSL 101: Elementary English as a Second Language.
Students are also invited to take advantage of our walk-in appointments, where they receive support on specific academic assignments.
Get feedback on language skills in the following areas:
- Fluency, accuracy, and creativity
- Cross cultural communication
- Spoken or written conversational and academic English
Work with our tutors or graduate assistant on:
- Individually designed language activities
- Essays, papers, and presentations
