12:30-1:20 - Lunch and Welcome from Tom Kling, First Seminar Coordinator, and Teresa King, Second Year Seminar Coordinator

1:30-2:45 - "Culturally Diverse Pedagogies" led by Sabrina Gentlewarrior, Institutional Diversity Faculty Associate, and Ann Brunjes, Director of Teaching and Learning

3:00-4:00 - Option of two sessions:

"Designing Writing-Intensive Seminars" led by Tom Kling, FYS Coordinator and Michelle Cox, Writing Across the Curriculum Coordinator

"Designing Speaking-Intensive Seminars" led by Teresa King, SYS Coordinator and Melanie McNaughton, Assistant Professor of Communication Studies
