The Second Annual JIWS' scholarship has been awarded to Yeliz Kizilarslan, a Turkish citizen, who will use the funds to travel to the region and interview the women and write their stories as "Maidenhood and Motherhood: Narratives from Kurdish Women of Diyerbakir". On completion of her project, Yeliz will publish a version of her manuscript in the JIWS. Congratulations Yeliz!
