Arab Children & Arab Spring: Call for Papers

Special Issue # 3

This Third Special Issue of the Journal of International Women's Studies (JIWS) solicits articles on Arab children & Arab Spring. Submissions will address a broad range of discussions on issues related to Arab children, their victimization and role in the current revolutions sweeping the Arab World as well as how these roles and impacts vary by gender.

We are seeking articles that tackle the above stated issues empirically, specifically covering the Arab world: Algeria, Bahrain, Comoros, Djibouti, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, Oman, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Syria, Sudan, Tunisia, UAE and Yemen.

Scholars and activists are invited to submit unpublished manuscripts that are currently not under review. Please consult the JIWS web site (http://www.bridgew.edu/soas/jiws/submit.htm) for submission guidelines including length, format and bibliographical/referencing styles.

The deadline for submission is July 30th, 2013.
