Massachusetts BSW Child Welfare Training Scholarship

you should consider the
Massachusetts BSW Child Welfare Training Scholarship
The child welfare training scholarship is designed to maximize child welfare education and facilitate interactions among BSW students across different social work programs. Students who will be entering senior field work in fall 2010, have at least a 3.0 GPA, and have an interest in a child welfare career are encouraged to apply for this scholarship.
Recipients of the scholarship will receive a stipend during the senior year, which will cover tuition, fees, and some living expenses. Recipients are required to make a commitment to work for the Massachusetts Department of Children and Families (DCF) for two years post graduation if offered a position by DCF.
Each year, two social work majors from each of the following institutions will be selected to receive the scholarship: Bridgewater State College, Salem State College, and Westfield State College.
Scholarship applications will be available in February 2010.
