CRJU 399: Criminal Justice Study Tour: London and the Midlands

Earn college credits and have fun at the same time. Join the Criminal Justice Department's study tour to London and the Midlands in the United Kingdom! This course provides a cross-national survey of crime, criminal law and criminal justice in the United Kingdom. We will be visiting various courts, police departments, prisons and treatment centers during our stay abroad.

             

Highlights

  • Buckingham Palace and the House of Parliament
  • See Big Ben
  • A visit to the famed criminal courts in the Old Bailey
  • Tours of New Scotland Yard and the Tower of London
  • Visit the meadow of Runnymede, where the Magna Carta was signed and English Common law was born

Program Costs

Fulltime BSC Students

All Fulltime BSC students will be awarded a scholarship. This scholarship will cover tuition, fees, and a portion of the trip.

How to Apply

1. Complete the BSC Study Tour Application below and return them to the Office of Study Abroad

2. Visit the Financial Aid office to discuss how you will fund your trip. Some students take out loans to cover the cost of the trip.

3. Apply for a passport immediately to ensure your ability to travel.

4. Discuss any concerns with the staff in the Office of Study Abroad early in the application process.
