When interpreting your score, remember that only you know for certain if you are ready to take this test. This quiz may rate your experience and confidence as a writer, but it cannot rate your skill or your level of preparedness. Even those with a perfect score need help honing and developing their skills as writers and test takers. A perfect score on this quiz is absolutely no guarantee that you will pass the teacher test.

28-34: You have a sufficient amount of experience as an academic writer.

Recommendation: Consider attending the Strategies Seminars to further assess your skills.

20-27: You have had an average amount of experience as a writer.

Recommendation: Attend the Strategies Seminars and make an appointment to have a Test Counselor review your practice summary, composition, and dictation.

12-19: You have had a minimal amount of experience and practice as an academic writer.

Recommendations: Utilize all of the Test Preparation Resources.

0-11: There are no bad writers, only inexperienced writers. You need a lot of practice and guidance.

Recommendations: Strongly recommend full use of all Test Preparation Resources.
