Masterlist of Judith Glynn Award winners
This award was established in memory of Judith Glynn of the Class of 1963, an active member of the Drama Club who died in an automobile accident in October, 1964. The original funding of the award was depleted within a decade, but the program faculty continued to confer the award as an annual recognition for students who made outstanding contributions to theater at Bridgewater. In 1984 the faculty began the tradition of hosting a luncheon for the award finalists each spring in the Bridgewater Dining Room. The award winner is honored with an appropriate gift at the college Honors Day celebration. Those who have been honored recognize the qualities of alumni who have shared in the Judith Glynn luncheon.

Following is a partial masterlist of alumni who have been recognized with the Judith Glynn Award. The award is presented annually to the member of the Ensemble Theater who has stimulated an interest in drama, accepted any role or task assigned without attempting to gain notoriety or applause, and has furthered the progress of theater at Bridgewater State College.
