Elissa Flynn-PoppeyAttorney Elissa Flynn-Poppey is an associate in the Boston office of Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, P.C., where she practices in the litigation and government practice sections.  She was previously deputy legal counsel to Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney and executive director of the Judicial Nominating Commission for the Office of the Governor.  Ms. Flynn-Poppey also worked for the late Congressman Joseph Moakley and former State Senator JoAnn Sprague.

After graduating from Suffolk Law School, Ms. Flynn-Poppey clerked for the Justices of the Superior Court of Massachusetts, was a research assistant to Judge Joseph Nolan of the Supreme Judicial Court, and served as an associate in the litigation section of a Boston-based law firm.   

She and her husband, Thomas, ’93, live in the Town of Norfolk where she currently sits on the Zoning Board of Appeals and the Historical Commission.
