Undergraduates may seek a BS degree in Accounting & Finance with a concentration in Accounting or Finance. Students enrolled in our Accounting & Finance program have continuously excelled on professional certification examinations.
The accounting track prepares students for a variety of positions leading to management level careers in corporate and public accounting, auditing and taxation. This concentration will also assist in preparing students for the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) exam or the Certified Management Accounting (CMA) exam. Our Accounting program is 150-hour compliant and meets all requirements to sit for the CPA examination in Massachusetts.
The finance track prepares students for positions in banking, investments, financial planning, cash management and international finance in both public and private institutions. This concentration will also assist in preparing students for professional certifications such as the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
Our students are in high demand by local and regional firms and are actively recruited. Internships are available through several sources.
