"The AMA is the epitome of everything a professional college organization should represent: career preparation, skill development, and networking. The AMA is also the embodiment of everything an extra-curricular college club should stand for. It is a truly incredible opportunity to build lasting friendships."
Current job: Senior Account Manager and New Product Developer at a Marketing Co. in Boston
"The AMA was a great influence as it taught me valuable team building and networking skills. No one works alone in the corporate world. A good team is the foundation of great companies, the AMA will help you hone in on these skills and help you add value to the companies you work for."
Current job: Product Marketing Director at Intel Corporation
"The AMA at BSC was a great investment of time and effort. At the essence, the AMA provides all one wants from college and more - it provided opportunity, exposure and experience for professional business and marketing activities that supplemented theoretical and textbook approaches. Gaining this additional context is immensely helpful when building context and networks to succeed in the business world beyond college."
At the AMA our members are prepared for the world outside of the walls at Castle Harrington. The AMA constantly has guest speakers that come on campus and talk about life in the real world. The speakers talk about how they obtained their position and what they are doing now.
Looking for a job? Well our guest speakers are your foot in the door. Slip them your resume or ask them for tips or maybe see if they will pass your resume onto their Human Resources department. Contact a former speaker and ask them about a previous presentation they had at BSC.
If you are interested in hearing one of our guest speakers, just show up. For dates, times and a list of our speakers click on the calendar link . For more information on our speakers or interested in speaking, please contact Francis Duggan.
