Art Education

The Art Education Concentration prepares students to teach pre-kindergarten through 12th grade. Students interested in becoming art teachers take the art courses required for certification and complete a minor in education. For students already having an undergraduate degree in art, education certification requirements can be completed in the Post Baccalaureate certification program or in the Accelerated Post Baccalaureate program through the Graduate School.

Questions regarding the Art Education Concentration should be directed to Professor Dorothy Pulsifer, Graduate Program Coordinator, or Professor John Hooker, instructor of art education.
