GRADE REPORTING Ð PLEASE CONSIDER USING WEB FOR FACULTY!

Based on comments from those who have used Web for Faculty to grade their students, this method of grade reporting and submitting grades is both easy and convenient. No bubbles -- just point and click! We would like to encourage all faculty to give this product a try. Instructions for Web grading will be forwarded to you shortly.

To use Web for Faculty, you will be required to enter your faculty ID and a PIN (personal ID number). If you cannot locate your PIN, please contact Nancy Clay at (508) 531-2191 or Janet Taylor at (508) 531-2494, at your earliest convenience. For security reason, PINS cannot be sent via e-mail or left as a voice message.

GRADE REPORTING . . . ADDITIONAL REMINDERS!

GRADING VIA WEB FOR FACULTY

1.    If a studentÕs name is missing, contact Robin Riley as soon as possible at (508) 531-2175 for further instructions. Grades cannot be accepted via e-mail or fax.

2.    You may not assign a symbol of ÒWÓ, ÒWAÓ, ÒWPÓ or ÒWFÓ at this time.

3.    All grades must be transmitted by the due date. Web grading will be turned off at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 23, 2003.

4.    REMINDER: Incomplete grade changes from Spring and Summer 2003 must still be returned in person to the RegistrarÕs Office, Boyden Hall - Room 003, by 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 23rd!

GRADING VIA BUBBLE GRADE ROSTERS

1.    Please make sure no student is missing from the Grade Roster. If so, write in the studentÕs name at the bottom of the Roster and record the grade. Include the studentÕs ID if known.

2.    You may not assign a symbol of ÒWÓ, ÒWAÓ, ÒWPÓ, or ÒWFÓ at this time.

3.    Please use either blue or black pen (not felt tip) and be sure the printed grade and the filled in bubbles agree. The bubbled grade will take precedence over the hand-written grade.

4.    Grade Rosters may not be mailed or faxed, nor may they be submitted by anyone other than the instructor or department secretary (no students).

5.    All Grade Rosters and Incomplete grade changes must be turned in by the due date! Return Grade Rosters and the report of Incomplete Grade Changes to the REGISTRARÕS OFFICE on the ground floor of Boyden Hall no later than 4:00 PM on Tuesday, December 23, 2003.
