Bridgewater State University's Arts for Youth

Will Candler (Arts for Teens Co-Director):  Will is very excited to be back for his 7th year with the Arts for Youth family as the Teens Co-Director! Will graduated summa cum laude from Bridgewater State University in 2007 with degrees in both English and Theater Arts. While at Bridgewater, Will was actively involved in the theater department as an actor, set designer, and director, where he was a part of numerous memorable productions, including Assassins, Drakula:The Rock Opera, E-University-G Bowl Live, and The Complete Works of William Shakespeare: Abridged. After graduating from University, Will ran for mayor of his hometown of Weymouth where he came in 5th out of 6. Following this undertaking, Will traveled the country as a professional actor with the National Theater for Arts and Education, where he performed in 38 different states and off-Broadway in New York City with a children's theater show entitled Revealing the Mysteries of Math. Will is currently teaching 7th grade Math at Hanson Middle School, where he also serves as their drama director.
