Bridgewater State University's summer Arts for Youth program (being held at the Bridgewater-Raynham High School for Summer 2011) is a comprehensive arts program that allows children to explore a full range of performance and visual arts. Children will be taking classes with other students of the same age group in subjects such as video, dance, drama, photography, painting, music, creative computing, gymnastics, and general sports. All courses are taught by professional artists/teachers (10:1 student-teacher ratio) and arts education interns, and children are given the opportunity to discover their individual talent, as well as to develop learning skills, in an atmosphere of cooperation, collaboration and fun! On the last day of each three-week session, parents and friends are invited to a celebration called Artsfest. On this occasion, we display our work from all of the classes.
