Robert Teahan - Class of 1988
Robert Teahan was considered the finest athlete of his day at Bridgewater State College. For four seasons he
competed in soccer, basketball and baseball. He was also the first president of the Bridgewater State Varsity
Club.
Following his athletic career at BSC, Bob had an outstanding professional career at Whitman High School (1950-75)
where he coached basketball and football in addition to being the school's athletic director. He is also a former
state representative for the town of Whitman. Bob was also a personnel scout for the New England Patriots football
organization. Bob passed away in 1997.
