Debra Mueller - Class of 1989

Debra was the first Bridgewater State College athlete of the 1980's to be selected to the Athletic Hall of Fame. A two-time NCAA All-American in cross-country and a three-time All-American in track, she held the BSC records in the 1500, 3000, 5000, and 10,000 meter events.

After her graduation in 1982, Debra ran competitively for the Puma USA and Reebok racing teams. During that time she won marathons in Dublin, Ireland and Twin cities, Minnesota. In 1984 she also qualified for the U.S. Olympic trials in the marathon. A native of Bellingham, MA, Debra is still an active runner and residing in Ashland, MA.
