James Argir - Class of 1992
Jim lettered in five different sports while at Bridgewater State College (1958-61). He lettered in soccer (3
yrs.), basketball (4 yrs.), baseball (3 yrs.), track (3 yrs.) and football (1 yr.). He captained both the baseball
and football teams his senior year and was named the outstanding Male Athlete of the Year in 1961 by the Men's
Athletic Association (M.A.A.).
Jim is presently the principal for the William Pittaway School and Henry E. Warren School in Ashland, MA. He is
still an active alumnus at Bridgewater State College where he is currently a trustee on the Bridgewater State College
Foundation.
