Dee Dee Enabenter-Omidiji - Class of 1995
Dee Dee Enabenter-Omidiji was both an outstanding student-athlete and coach at her alma mater. From 1980-83 she
played on the BSC basketball and softball teams, captaining both her senior year. In 1984, she became the Bridgewater head softball coach, a position she held for 16 years through 2000. She is
presently Bridgewater's all-time winningest coach with a 429-153-3 (.736) record. During her tenure, the Lady Bears
went to postseason tournaments 14 of those years with 1994 being the best with BSC advancing to the NCAA Division
III Championship Finals. Dee was named the NSCA Division III "Coach of the Year" for 1994.
In 1995 she was selected to coach the Nigerian national team in the 1995 African Games in Botswana, Africa. In
addition to softball coaching duties, Dee Dee was a staff assistant in the BSC athletics department and a life-long
resident of Plymouth, MA.
Dee Dee left her alma mater in 2000 to purse her lifelong dream of coaching at the Division I level at San Jose
State University in California. After six seasons at San Jose, Dee Dee moved
back to New England to become the head coach of the Brown University
softball team.
