Charles Tobey - Class of 1996
Chuck Tobey was a star guard on the BSC football team from 1972-75. He was selected their team captain in 1975.
While at Bridgewater he started in 40 straight games for the Bears. He was named to the New England Football
Conference all-star team in 1975 as well.
Since 1984, he has been the Director of Athletics at Gulliver Preparatory School in Miami, Florida. He later went
on to earn his Masters degree in Sports Administration in 1991 from St. Thomas University in Miami. Under the
guidance of Tobey, Gulliver Academy teams have won 126 district championships, 25 regional championships, 10 state
runner up titles and 16 state championships.
He, his wife Donna (Kane)'77 and two sons Michael and Timothy live in Miami, Florida.
