Geoffrey M. Fanning - Class of 2003
Geoffrey M. Fanning played football from 1963-66, and almost never missed a snap for BSC. An All New England
selection in his senior season of 1966, Jeff Fanning dominated the offensive line as the anchor at center, and
terrorized offenses from the linebacker position. In his time at BSC Jeff also served as the President (1966-67) and
Vice President (1965-66) of the Men's Athletic Association. After graduation Jeff continued to use his athletic
talents as a coach of the game. He served as the head football coach of Stoughton High School (1976-79) and Stonehill
College (1981-82). After a long career in education, highlighted in 1991 when Jeff was selected as the Superintendent
of Public schools for Stoughton, Jeff retired as Principal of Hull High School in 2002.
He currently resides in Boca Raton, Florida with his wife, Helen.
